Disneyland Hong Kong is a must visit if you are traveling to Hong Kong with kids. It is not as big as the other Disneylands that we have visited in Paris and Shanghai, but it has a similar layout. It is divided into the sections Main Street USA, Fantasy Land, Adventureland, Pirateland, Tomorrowland, Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Point.
It is easy to go to Disneyland from Downtown with the Subway. It is located on Lantau Island close to the airport and has its own train. The windows of the train have the shape of Mickey Mouse face. This makes the journey more exciting and gives you the feeling you are now almost there. The train station is very nice decorated and clean. From the train station it is only a short walk to the entrance.
The resort is very clean and well kept. There are many trees and green areas. The layout is well structured and it is easy to find your way without getting lost. It you are traveling to Hong Kong with a toddler, it is easy to bring a baby stroller to Disneyland. No need to worry about carrying the stroller up and down stairs. All over is easy access.

We went there on a Monday just before the Chinese Golden Week holiday started. It was not crowded at all and we didn’t have to wait more than 5-10min in the queue for the rides. We could visit all the attractions we wanted. It was very fun. The Halloween decorations were incredible beautiful. It was the best Halloween decorations I have seen so far. Disneyland is definitely worth a visit if you are traveling to Hong Kong with kids.

An easy and quick way to get to Disneyland is to take the Subway...Directions
- From Downtown Hong Kong take the Orange or the Green line to Sunny Bay Station
- Change to the Disneyland Resort Line
- Exit after only one stop at the Disneyland entrance
