Gubei Water Town is a tourist village about 150km north of Beijing. The buildings are made in old Chinese style. It is made to resemble Wuzhen watertown in South China. It is close to the Simatai section of the Great Wall.
It is a nice place to go Sightseeing. There are some Chinese Restaurants, a Chinese distillery and souvenir stores.
It was very hot. We bought ice cream for the kids and sat down to relax.
