This is the Town to visit in South Africa. Beautiful scenery with the Table Mountain. We stayed at a B&B on the north side of Town. There are beautiful beaches and views.

Cape of Good Hope is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet. The sailors going from Europe to India named it this way because they had by reaching this point made it halfway.

The Waterfront is the old harbour in Capetown. A very nice area to spend a day with a lot of restaurants and a great view to the Table Mountain. Here is always busy and many tourists.

In the evening we went to Long Street. Our favorite place was Mama Africa. A busy Restaurant and Pub.

Near Cape Town is the Stellenbosch area where the most South African Vinerys are located. French immigrants brought Grapeseeds with them from France and settled down in Stellenbosch. The climate is perfect for Winemaking and the area world famous for quality wines. Several Vinerys offer winetasting. We stopped at a memorial monument for the French immigrants. They were christian protestants, so called Hugenots and they had to flee France because of religious conflicts with the Catholics.
