Why do children misbehave? Complain and cry. Generally, it’s not because they are naughty; they need attention. My 4-year-old son used to act strange when I paid much attention to his siblings. He would disturb the conversation by making noise or do things that he is not allowed to do.

Instead of getting angry, I always tell him how much I love him, and he is the cutest boy in the world. I say I’ll attend him after his brother finishes telling me his story.

Need for Attention

By involving him in every task, even if he is out of topic, makes him feel important and noticeable. This makes him feel a sense of belonging and significance. Right away, mistaken belief changes.
